Vaccination ProtectsPosted On : 03-Aug-2019 Posted By : Admin JhalamandVaccination protects children from serious illness and complications of preventable diseases. Vaccination is safe and effective. All vaccines undergo long and careful review by scientists, doctors, and the federal government to make sure they are safe. If children aren’t vaccinated, they can spread disease to other children who are too young to be vaccinated or to people with weakened immune systems, such as transplant recipients and people with cancer. This could result in long-term complications and even death for these vulnerable people. The Measles Rubella (MR) Vaccination camp was organised on 29th July 2019 at THE SHANTI NIKETAN campus in collaboration with the Health Department of Rajasthan Government. The aim of the drive is to eliminate Measles and control Congenital Rubella Syndrome (CRS) in the country by the year 2020. |
