THE SHANTI NIKETAN always contribute the best of its services to the society,this has been proved again when a TWO DAY NO COST HEALTH CHECKUP under the tag of a "HEALTHY BABY CONTEST" was held to make the parents aware of how important their child's health is and how it can be improved.

In association with LIONS CLUB WEST SHAKTI the TSN collaborated with Medipulse hospital and organised this camp at 2 different venues of the city.

One was at AASHIANA AMARBAGH ON 29TH JUNE & second one was at KUDI COMMUNITY HALL (KUDI HOUSING BOARD)

THE camp was inaugurated by the CHIEF GUEST SHRI CHANDRA LAL JI KAWA,who is an active social worker and the vice president of Basni krishi mandi 

The contest attracted many people,around 160 entries were registered and many of them were qualified for the second round, it was really a difficult task to select the winners.

The pediatricians DR.KAPIL RAHEJA,VINOD MAKHIJA AND LALIT SONI examined the children and spoke about the nutritive values and suggested ways to stay fit as these children will be the future of the nation.

When asked about the reason and the idea behind this camp 

,School Chairman SHRI KAILASH JI MODI shared his concern as how dangerous and unidentified diseases are catching our little toddlers in other parts of our country some one has to initiate and organise such camps which invite people for a health check up by which we can easily trace out the problem and take preventive measures to ensure that our children stay fit. Principal MRS YOGESHWARI RATHORE addressed the gathering and expressed the importance of health and how it plays a vital role in a child's educational success,she also extended her gratitude to the team of MEDIPULSE AND THE LIONS CLUB who tied up with TSN and made this event a mega success.``
