Handwriting enables civilization.’ However colourful or animated the electronic fonts may be, unarguably there is a personal dignity and grace to a hand-written note. THE SHANTI NIKETAN believes that good handwriting is the beginning of civilized life. It denotes neuro-muscular development in children.

The Primary Section of TSN JHALAMAND, standard 1 to 8, participated in Intra-class Handwriting competition on July 31, 2019. The participants were given a particular passage to write in the given time.  Apart from the time limit, the students had to mind letter formation, spellings and neatness in their presentation. It was a keenly contested competition as students perfected the slants and curves of their writing by practicing regularly at home. The response of the students was very encouraging. All the students had put in their best foot forward to enhance their writing skills.
